Renovation of the Beckerath Organ in the Basilica
Renovation work on the Beckerath organ in Saint Joseph's Oratory basilica began August 29, 2011 and will continue until May/June 2012. The Sunday organ concerts remain at 3:30 p.m., but using the Rogers organ, located in the sanctuary area of the basilica. Thus, music lovers can still come and listen to the recitals offered by noted organists.

The World Day of the Sick takes place every year on February 11..
In his message for the Day of the Sick 2012, the pope Benedict XVI writes:
«In the generous and loving welcoming of every human life, above all of weak and sick life, a Christian expresses an important aspect of his or her Gospel witness, following the example of Christ, who bent down before the material and spiritual sufferings of man in order to heal them.»
To celebrate the World Day of the Sick, there will be a mass including the sacrament of the Anointing of the sick on Wednesday February 8 at 2 PM in the crypt. Father Jean-Guy Vincent c.s.c. will celebrate Welcome to all!
